Who I Am

True North AI is run by one human. I operate true-north-ai.ca, offering identity file templates and custom identity file services for AI companions. I am based in Ontario, Canada.

What I Collect

I collect as little as possible:

• Purchases: Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full payment card details. Stripe provides me with your name, email address, and purchase record so I can deliver your product. Stripe's own privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Email: If you contact me or request a custom identity file, I receive whatever you choose to send me: your email address and the contents of your message.
• Hosting logs: The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard technical data (IP address, browser type) to serve and secure the site. I do not run analytics trackers or advertising pixels.

Custom Identity File Information

Creating a custom identity file requires you to share details about your AI companion and your preferences. I treat this information as strictly confidential. It is used only to create your file, is never shared with third parties, and is never used as marketing material or examples without your explicit written permission.

What I Never Do

• I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.
• I do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly ask to receive them.
• I do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

Purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. Your identity files are deleted off my computer once your files are delivered. I do not retain your AI's identity files.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it, at any time by emailing hello@true-north-ai.ca. I comply with Canada's PIPEDA privacy framework.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
